Built on the foundation of the 4Ms of an Age-Friendly Health System (What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility), the 4Ms – Behavioral Health (4Ms-BH) provides mental health and substance use clinicians with a unique version of the framework to guide and enhance care for older adults. This eight-hour live online series will provide essential background knowledge about the needs of older adults in mental health and substance use settings, practical tools for assessing and applying the 4Ms-BH across professions and theoretical orientations, and strategies to support framework sustainability. The series includes a three-hour overview webinar followed by five monthly one-hour sessions to apply and solidify training content. Free continuing education credits will be provided at the conclusion of the full series following completion of the post-test and evaluation.
