Description: In this talk we will review community-based programs designed to support older adults’ engagement in mental health care. In each program, we work closely with community partners to identify individuals in diverse setting (e.g., senior centers, elder abuse services) who can benefit from mental health services.

- Describe at least one model of secondary prevention.
- Determine opportunities to apply an evidence-based engagement strategy (Open Door).
- Summarize partnership strategies used to detect and refer older adults with depression in community settings.
